Ronald Fouracre and Lee Gibson

Ronald Fouracre was a British director and producer best known for his work on "Coronation Street" and "The Benny Hill Show."
Not much is known about Fouracre's life and career. He was born in 1933 and started his career as a production designer on the British TV shows "Probation Officer," "Ghost Squad" and "The Plane Makers." He was the art director for one episode of "Shindig" in 1964. In the late 1960s, he moved into directing on shows such as "The Eamonn Andrews Show," "The Rolf Harris Show," "Carry on Christmas" and "What's Next." He also served as both producer and director on "The Benny Hill Show" from 1975 to 1979. It's possible he plays the charity giver, English officer and banjo player in the Grand Wheelchair Rally on December 26, 1978. His last jobs as a director was for the TV series "Looks Familiar" and seventeen episodes of "Coronation Street" between July 1974 and April 1980.
He passed away July 2, 1983, survived by his wife, former Miss World, Eva Ruber Staer, best known for a recurring role in the Roger Moore "James Bond" movies.
