Dennie Bayliss is an English actress possibly best known for her work on stage. She also appeared in the 1992 film, "The Bill."
Born in Pinner in northwest London, England, she trained at the Arts Educational School in London started her career in the musicals, "Charlie Girl" and "Promises, Promises." She was also a dancer for Paddy Stone at the London Palladium, later appeared in many TV shows including ATV’s "Paul McCartney Spectacular," BBC’s "Nationwide" and "The Benny Hill Show." She played the gamekeeper's daughter in the "When I Was a Lad" film segment and one of the disrobing sun-bathers with Sue Bond and Cheryl Gilham in the December 27, 1972 episode
Sometimes credited as "Dennie Baylis," Bayliss is very fond of Victorian Music Hall, which she performs at the Players Theater in London and on-board riverboat cruises on the Thames as well as in many cabaret venues in and around London. Her last appearance in a Christmas musical was at the Westminster Theater in "Rupert Bear." Her most recent pantomime part was the title role in Cinderella with Jimmy Edwards at the Congress Theater in Eastbourne.
