Gardner in "Evil of Frankenstein"

Caron Gardner is an English actress possibly best known for her roles in "Department S," "The Saint," "Secret Agent" and "Up Jumped a Swagman."
Not much is known about her life and early career. Born January 9, 1941 in London, England, she was Miss London After Dark, promoting British travel during visits to the United States, and attended drama school in London. Her first known film was "The Hellfire Club," followed by roles on television in "BBC Sunday-Night Play," "The Avengers" and Benny Hill's BBC comedy anthology, which was immediately followed by her appearance in "The Evil of Frankenstein," starring Peter Cushing in 1965.
Through 1964 and 1965, she appeared in the movies "A Hard Day's Night" with The Beatles, the James Bond film "Goldfinger" as one of Pussy Galore Girls, reunited with Peter Cushing in "Dr. Terror's House of Horrors," "The Brigand of Kandahar" and "Up Jumped a Swagman." Her roles on British television included multiple appearances on "Crossroads," followed by episodes of "The Plane Makers," "Comedy Playhouse," "Secret Agent," "Love Story," "Mr. Aitch," "Morecambe and Wise" and "The Saint" with future James Bond, Roger Moore.
Gardener also roles in the films "The Fiction-Makers," "Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed" which went uncredited and "Burke & Hare," but she was mostly active in television. She had roles in the TV shows "Honey Lane," "The Champions," "Department S," "The Doctors," "Monty Python's Flying Circus," "Three Piece Suite" and "Tripper's Day." She also had unaccredited roles in "Mister Ten Per Cent" and "The Deadly Bees."
Her last known role was an appearance in "Second Thoughts" in 1992.
